Lead Infant Teacher

Be responsible for implementing curriculum in the classroom; responsible

for the supervision and management of children in the classroom;

knowledgeable in developmental appropriate practices to Supervise assistant

teachers and children in their room ensuring activities and curriculum are

adhered to as required by the Director

JOB DESCRIPTION

21 years old

Provide all medical records, abuse clearance, criminal records check,

fingerprint clearance, high school diploma and any other forms or information

required by the state regulatory agency

Maintain the state requirements for training hours

Must be able to lift fifty pounds, sit on the floor, and be actively involved

with the children

Evidence of emotional maturity and stability which demonstrates the ability

to show good judgment in handling a crisis situation

Ability to supervise assistants and floaters

Computer literate

Dependability and promptness

Maintain CPR and First Aid

Maintain blood borne pathogens and fire extinguisher

Maintain child abuse and neglect

CDA or higher in Early childhood education and 45 hours training in Early

Childhood Education/Child Development

Must have experience working in a early care group setting (infant, toddler

and/or preschool)

Preferred qualifications: AA in Early Childhood Education/Child

Development or related field;

Experience in a full day child care setting in a teaching capacity.

Familiarity with DCF requirements and NAEYC Accreditation guidelines

appropriate practices.
